Microsoft offers $250,000 reward for anyone who will enhance it’s security system:
Microsoft has now taken a step to prevent their software from Cyber-attacks by offering $250,000 reward for anyone who will protect windows from Cyber Attacks.
Company’s BlueHat Prize that is open for programmers everywhere will pay $200,000 to the programmer whose idea will be judged by the company to be the best way of stopping the Cyber-attacks. While the $50,000 will be shared half between the runners up whom another offer of MSDN Universal subscription, that will allow them to develop their own software for the Microsoft will also be given.
Senior security strategist for the Microsoft Security Response Center Katie Moussouris said: “This is the first and largest incentive prize ever offered by Microsoft, and possibly ever in the industry,”
